Chinese herbs for postpartum healing

One of these goes home with each pregnant person I treat during their final weeks of pregnancy.  These subtly sweet food-herbs can be added to bone broth, chicken soup, or brewed alone as a tea.  They are mild in flavor and action, safe for anyone to consume, including those that are nursing young babes.  I love this nourishing postpartum blend because it helps to restore the energy that has been expended during the birth.  And it tastes really good in chicken soup!  The herbs included here are dang shen/codonopsis, gou qi zi/lycium, da zao/zisyphus, and gan jiang/zingiber.  I also sell these packets for $10 if you would like to gift them to an expectant parent or cook them up for a newly postpartum friend.
