Welcome to my healing sanctuary in downtown Sebastopol. I treat a wide range of health concerns from a holistic perspective. By employing acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, and cupping, my treatments can address pain, hormonal imbalance, and mental and emotional health. I listen to your health concerns and create a holistic plan to address them in partnership with you to create more balance and ease in your life.

My treatments are grounded in decades of practice and continuing study of holistic medicine. During the initial appointment, I take a comprehensive health history and formulate a diagnosis to address the root of the imbalance.  From this I creates a treatment plan that relieves symptoms while treating the problem at the root.  I work collaboratively with my patients to create a plan that is effective and achievable.  This will entail a series of acupuncture treatments, often a Chinese herbal formula, and specific dietary and lifestyle guidance.

I practice a gentle, yet flexible style of acupuncture that can be tailored to the individual’s needs.  Working with many first time acupuncture patients and highly sensitive people, my compassionate, trauma-informed approach stimulates healing without provoking pain.  Some sessions may include moxibustion, the application of the heated herb mugwort on acupuncture points.  Cupping and gua sha are traditional Chinese bodywork therapies that may be appropriate for certain conditions.

By formulating a custom blend of herbs tailored to my patient’s unique presentation, I’m able to address complex disorders that western medicine has failed to help, such as hormonal imbalances, mental and emotional issues, and digestive disorders.
